Collection includes insurance policies, 1828-1879; bills of lading, 1840-1878; crew rosters, 1851-1853; ship manifests; landing certificates; shipment receipts; and other papers. Also, personal letters sent to Abiel Abbot Low, his brother William Low, and other members of the Low family, dated mainly 1838-1866.
